Sovereign Island

Access: By car – The Sovereign Mile bridge.

Located just North of Ephraim Island and part of the Paradise Point suburb, Sovereign Island has over 700 allotments and is home to some of the most affluent people on the Gold Coast.  Every single home has deep waterfront access to the Broadwater and the tranquil waterways often attract wildlife such as dolphins who enjoy swimming in the area.  

When you’re in one of our hire boats, head past the Eastern side of Sovereign island where you can see mansions that look like something out of a Hollywood movie.  

The area of Sovereign Island is made up of 6 individual islands, all interlinked by road.  The development began in 1988 and used over 1 million cubic metres of sand dredged from the Broadwater.
